This practice is “the jewel in the crown” of dental clinics. I had a phobia and fear of dentists for years and needed a dentist who practiced sedation dentistry. I found Dr. Patrick O’Connor on the internet with very positive reviews. From the offset, the caring friendly receptionists made me feel at ease and the communication was excellent. The calm, caring and friendly atmosphere created by Dr. O’Connor and the nurses that I experienced was indescribable and they helped me relax by being patient with me.
Dr. O’Connor is a brilliant dentist, lovely guy with a great sense of humour, very reassuring and explained exactly what he was doing beforehand. Using modern technology, he explained everything regarding the dental treatment I needed. He didn’t push expensive procedures, but advised me on what he thought was the best option for me and the cost of each procedure. He was understanding and professional and didn’t rush through any of the details,
I also had appointments with the hygienist, Ann Corry, who is another highly professional member of this team and super at her job. The sedation option is amazing and invaluable. Dr. O’Connor is an expert in this procedure, he is so gentle, you don’t even feel or see the needle! You go for a nap and when you wake up its all over! A member of the team even checks up with you within a couple of days to ensure you had no problems.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. O’Connor and his team to anyone who is anxious to have dental treatment done and especially to those of you who have a fear of the dentists. As I continue my dental treament in this great practice, I feel relaxed and can smile with confidence again!
If there were “Oscars” for dentistry, I would definitely nominate Dr. O’Connor and his team!
